Color of the Year in Chicago interior

i came across this interior shot earlier today while perusing apartment therapy and immediately thought of mimosa, pantone’s color of the year that we recently featured at a PSI event.

this interior offers an interesting mix of textures (velvets, silks and linens) while not detracting from the focal point of the encased wallpaper. kudos!

That’s a great use of Mimosa – I also love the clever way they used that wallpaper by encasing it. What a great way to use wallpaper without over-doing it! Fantastic chandelier!

    Completely agree, Kay!

I just bought two bedroom lamps in that color and am having a difficult time finding pillow shams to match. Any suggestions on wear to find mimosa colored fabric and/or shams?

We have some great fabrics here with that color in them if you are interested in visiting the studio. We can pull some for you. I love that color.
