April’s Product Pick

April 15th, 2009

Pretty papers and fashionable correspondence always get my attention.  Maybe it’s the idea that these attractive notecards and booklets will somehow encourage more “just-because” notes which I need to send more of or help organize my thoughts when they’re jotted down between colorfully crafted covers.  Wishful thinking? Maybe not with some new papers I’ve recently discovered by SideShow Press.

The creative trio’s [Courtney, Amy and Virginia] combined talents in graphic design and print production shine in their newest collection of notecards that are sure to impress.

These are my two favorites from a recent showing at Lesesne.

These remind me a bit of Sally Benedict’s antler-esque paintings we shared a while back.  Plus, you have to admire their brilliant packaging.

I love the contrasting colors of these cranberry notes.

Oh, and it gets better.  They also work with brides to develop customized wedding correspondence.  Take a glimpse at this gorgeous save-the-date they did for a Charleston couple residing in Vietnam.  East meets West rather beautifully I’d say with this graphic border enveloping a banana leaf.

Be sure to check out their blog for most recent projects and press, and you can also shop their notecards at Lesesne on Upper King.

Keep up the good work, ladies!
