In the spirit of giving back and good causes [especially after writing our Displaced post], we wanted to share this effortlessly easy way to contribute to causes near and dear to you.

Rather than “googling” — start “goodsearching”. Good search is a yahoo-based search engine that donates a penny to the cause of your choice with each search you do.  So simple. 

Not sure if your favorite local cause is listed? Just type it in the charity and click verify. A few local ones we contribute to are Sea Island Habitat for Humanity and The Sustainability Institute.
