Marvelous Mistake

Remember this cover from May’s Elle Decor?  We just realized while glancing back through the magazine that the rug on cover was originally white.  Evidently,  some spills stained the rug and  Alexandra Wentworth (actress/writer) cleverly masked it with striations of similarly colored purple fabric dye throughout the rug.  Great coverup! Her husband thought it was a new rug. Now that’s creative.
