Just in Time for Spring

A client of ours in Isle of Palms wanted an inviting guest room that was inviting, with bright, energetic colors, while avoiding a typical “beachy” theme.  She fell in love with this Nina Campbell fabric [the bright floral] when we started on her home in 2009. Now she’s ready to complete her guest room to welcome those spring and summer visitors, and we’re excited to get started!

“I decided to use the floral Nina Campbell fabric for the focal point of the bedroom using it for the duvet and throw pillows on the bed and window seat. We chose a colorful “filler” fabric for the underside of the duvet so that she could choose to reverse it when she wanted to mix up the look. When designing any room, I find that it’s important to choose an inspiration fabric and build the design around that using complementary fabrics varying in texture and pattern to create depth and interest. Be sure that these fabrics are not too bold and won’t overpower each other though. Then, polish the look with decorative trims and tapes to add that extra detail for a custom appeal.  Finished project photos to come!” – Adrian
