[Kelly Wearstler] Wearstler’s impeccable and unexpected use of color and texture never cease to amaze us.  What we find most intriguing about her style is her calculated incoporation of materials in her designs.  You can definitely forget dull or repurposed ideas from this leading lady.

[Barry Dixon] Eastern influence is evident in his design  style, and we’re drawn to his dramatic use of lighting and intermingling of intricate objects that characterize his interiors.  He once said,  “If you want to be creative, go someplace…any place. Visit Harpers Ferry or Morroco. Either way you will come back with an idea. ” - THETALENT by Suzanna Salk

[Celerie Kemball] Kemball’s eclectic mix of pattern and vintage and found objects creates bold interiors full of character.  Her vivacious charm definitely shows in her interiors, which always warrants our attention.

[Charlotte Moss] Classic, sophisticated, timeless. That sums it up.   Southern born, she went from Wall Street executive to design mogul and has lines with Bruschwig and Fils (one of our favorites), Stark and Fabricut to name a few. What’s not to admire about her sophisticated style and business savvy.

[Nina Campbell] ] Mesmorized by her vibrant medleys of print and color,  Campbell’s style is one of our favorites.   Her line for Osborne & Little is a highly frequented resource for us.

 As we’ve come to learn and will share with you, between January and April, deer shed their antlers after mating season when the male deer sports them to attract the  female deer and fight for her affection.  This routine occurs throughout the duration of the animal’s life and each season, as he matures, the antlers increase in size. The natural twists and curves of the antler are true displays of natural beauty and have become increasingly prevalent in interiors over the years.

Thom Filicia, in particular,  comes to mind when associating antlers with stylish interiors. Whether used as wall art, candle sticks or mod lighting, his fashionable approach with these remarkable objects is truly memorable.

As big fans of Garden & Gun, it’s not surprising that we were immediately drawn to Haskell Harris’s [Associate Editor for G&G and previously with Coastal Living] blog for G&G, Belle Decor.  We first discovered March’s product pick from a Belle Decor post and are recently enjoying her post on chalkboard paint [love the finish it has!].  Mark as a favorite for unique finds and design inspiration…you’ll be glad you did!

What an unexpected use of rustic appeal in this Parlor Tray from Vagabond House.  This octagon shaped pewter tray has  naturally shed stag horn handles and pewter claw feet.  How handsome. Click for details.

With a simple mold you can custom create your own planter with a stone-like finish. [We love this faux-bois pattern...it reminds us of the Stark wallpaper from our Wood Wallcoverings post.]
